Anyone seen the new Liam Neeson “Naked Gun” flick?

Are you saying they made a sequel to Jesus’ resurrection?

“Resurrection 2, this time we really mean it!”

:joy:

Let’s just hope that Rian Johnson doesn’t direct it.

Watched Happy Gilmore 2 on Netflix. Not exactly a masterpiece of cinema, but a fun streaming movie that hit the right nostalgia notes. Check it out if you liked the first one.

New York Times Top 100 movies of the 21st century. I’ve never heard of 70% of these so I can’t judge too much but Gladiator at 92 seems absurd.

Blazing Saddles …1974!
The Outlaw Jodie Wales
High Plains Drifter
A Man Called Horse
Big Jake
The Shootist
Star Wars

I think most have seen the vast majority of those movies.

Disagree with a lot on that list.

The Royal Tenenbaums is not as good a Wes Anderson movie as either the Grand Budapest Hotel or Rushmore (like Anderson, I’m a graduate of Rushmore Academy, AKA St. John’s School in Houston).

A Mad Max movie ranked in the Top 11?

LOTR NOT in the Top Ten???

No Saving Private Ryan???

Lost in Translation absolutely bored me to death.

Come on now.

Saving Private Ryan was from the 90s.

American Sniper at 36 is nuts. I enjoyed it, but it’s not that good.

Pans Labyrinth should be higher.

Ah, so it’s just this millennium.

Got it.

Still.

LOTR not even in the Top 50???

That may have been the list created by people voting….they also asked actors and directors what their top ten were.

Interesting list. Surprised The Martian and some others didn’t make the list. Parasite at 1 is kind of ridiculous though.
