Heat is one of my favorite movies. I read the book Heat 2 when it came out. Really enjoyed it except for one part. Looking forward to seeing it on the screen.

Watched Superman yesterday on HBO Max.
Some things that stood out.

I didn’t realize that the chick that played the “Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” played Lois Lane.

At what point did The Green Lantern cease to be a dude in Green Spandex with a power ring and become a dude that looked like an Albino early 60s Beetle member with a white Motorcycle jacket?

I didn’t think that Lois always knew Superman’s secret identity.

Is there really a “Super Dog” in the comics?
As near as I can remember, Lois did not know from the beginning that CK was Superman in the DC comics but she did suspect. At some point in later issues she did know. Jimmy was pretty dorky. LL was older than Superman.
I watched it yesterday. It was just ok for me. I was also disappointed in Green Lantern. I think they swung the pendulum from too dark too corny. They could have stopped just short of corny and it would have gone from Ok to great.
I haven’t seen the latest Superman movie but as a connoisseur of the old DC Superman comic books, Superman had a dog named Krypto.

It’s getting universally positive reviews, being called a masterpiece. Hopefully it lives up to the hype.
I’m seeing it tomorrow. My first trip to the theaters in many years. Long ass movie. Do they sell depends at the concession stand? Asking for a friend.
