Moving to electric vehicles will dull recessions currently inflated by oil

If it doesn’t suit your need case, pass up on it. That doesn’t make it inferior. I can’t tow 14000# in my Porsche 911 either, so what?

It’s unpossible.

So Texas is getting some microchip factories, they use a ton of electricity and water. No outcry about them bringing down the grid? Is it because their media didn’t tell them to be outraged?

A chip fabrication facility, or “chip fab,” can use a significant amount of electricity, with large fabs often consuming up to 100 megawatt-hours of power per hour, which is more than many automotive plants or oil refineries; this high energy usage is due to the complex manufacturing processes, including lithography, etching, and the need to maintain ultra-cleanroom environments.

No, it’s because some billionaire “they” don’t know is getting rich, not some hippie status seeking EV driver.

Interesting new EV from Volvo coming…

“Volvo has unveiled its new fully electric car named ES90 which promises a range of 435 miles on a single charge. What’s more impressive is that the EV can run for additional 186 miles after being charged for just ten minutes.”

So, of you’re conservative and only drive it down to 20% you can still drive it 534 miles with only taking a 10 minute break to recharge some.

Not too shabby and that’s not even solid state.

I’ve been pretty consistent that I have no confidence that we are really planning for the future with the grid, and disaster planning. I will add water use to that as well.

So now Tesla owners are getting it from both sides. Get keyed, coal rolled, or vandalized from everybody. Damn.

Is there anything new in there (other than the $92T value which is impossible)? I’ve seen that talked about for the last couple of years.

Is this new or from 2023 ?

It’s really just a feature on it. Nothing of note about processes, extraction, etc. Outside of it’s a huge deposit of hydrogen which doesn’t require anything except extraction, processing for use, and a market for it

It’s not too hard to try.

That graph looks exactly like my retirement account since January 2025.

Well, now protests at Telsa dealerships and any damage done at Tesla dealerships are now going to be considered acts of domestic terrorism. SMH A certain someone is equating buying a Tesla as an act of patriotism.

Actually worse, boycotting Tesla is treasonous someone said. I won’t post a link, forgive me.
