Moving to electric vehicles will dull recessions currently inflated by oil

Tesla Model Y and Cybertrucks are a Texas product. Texans should support other Texans.

Samsung announced its Texas chip plant in 2021, with the facility expected to begin operations in 2026. This facility will be dedicated to manufacturing chips for Tesla, including the next-generation AI6 chip.

Cybertruck is pretty much a dead product at this point selling 5,000 units
per quarter
. Something will have to be done with all the unused idle factory
capacity. Time to pull the plug on the cybertruck.

Tesla has confirmed through its delivery report that Cybertruck sales have now dropped to ~5,000 units per quarter.

After planning for a production capacity of over 250,000 units per year, Tesla is currently selling the pickup truck at a rate of ~20,000 units annually.

What will happen to the vehicle program?

I don’t understand how you can support EVs so much yet not care about their intended purpose

It doesn’t make any sense

Have read several newspaper and blog articles declaring the end of the short-lived EV era.

The large container ship company that used to transport them declared No Mas, after a battery fire destroyed one of their ships.

EV = Hula Hoop.

And by the by The “Big Beautiful Bill” just changed our CAFE standards for average fleet MPG.

The standards are still in place, but the fines for violations were changed. To ZERO.

Look for American Auto Manufacturers to ramp up Muscle Cars, with oldtimey 1950’s-1960’s styling.

They may take a step back in the US for a bit but they aren’t going away. I don’t expect people to want gas guzzlers either.

We’ve gone over this a million times with you but you can’t seem to comprehend it. You’ve locked onto one razor sharp reasoning for EVs and you can’t deviate from it.

What are your reasons?

I love the high tech aspect. And performance.

Do you like the high tech aspect and performance of ICE vehicles?

To be fair there is very little “Futurology” in the ICE world. It’s basically maxed out, as any century+ old tech would be.

Who would’ve thunk putting stupid monkeys in charge of things while being controlled by evil people would dent innovation?

Of course I do. I don’t even own an EV. I don’t have to hate on something just because I didn’t choose to buy one. Some people seem to be either/or, and not just with EVs.

Oh yea, let me give yo some confirmation bias, I also love that it saves the planet and it let’s me look down on the peasants.

Then why do you seem very combative anytime someone talks about ICE vehicles

Say what? If by combative you mean, debunking anti EV propaganda, then you’re not realizing that it’s not a black and white situation. Imagine that, you can be an EV fan and still like ICE! What a concept. Try it sometime.

What exactly are you referring to regarding “anti EV Propaganda”?

What would be anti ICE propaganda?

Like I said, you can’t seem to comprehend it.

I’m trying to distinguish what you consider EV Propaganda or ICE Propaganda

Don’t you work for big oil?

Nope

Why aren’t you answering my question?

I’ve answered your question many times, why don’t you understand them. Or do you just keep asking until you get an answer you want? Sorry I don’t play those games.
