Clear Creek (04) and Clear Springs. I would have gone to Springs if it was built in time for me, it’s the high school I always wanted to go to (on my side of League City).

M. B. Smiley Golden Eagles. Aldine High School’s daddy!!

did all my elementary in Lafayette, would have been LHS '00 if i had stayed

Crazy how Smiley and Forest Brook merged.

Lot of crazy things, sordid affairs, embezzlement - you name it. And eventually, 2 6A high schools become 1 4A high school (North Forest), and North Forest ISD schools are moved into HISD.

2003 team, good grief were they good

PBRCoog, DannyCougar,
back in our early days NS (enrollment about 1,000) was in the district with the Smiley Eagles, Aldine Mustangs, Aldine MacArthur Generals, Spring Branch Bears, Memorial Mustangs, Spring Woods Tigers, Stratford Spartans and our hated big sister Galena Park. For OOC we usually played Brazosport, McAllen, and one of the Pasadena or Clear Creek schools. A murders row for a young growing school. Best memories were beating Galena Park twice.

I went to that championship game at Rice Stadium. I grew up one town over and went with a friend that graduated from NS. It was the year after we graduated from HS. Fun game.
