NBA Draft - Shead

So he cheated by 6" on his standing reach !?!

You aren’t watching the same player lol.

Context on why Reed was the right pick. I don’t think people realize how good he was. There isn’t much on the court he can’t do, his only real knock right now is a tighter handle. He shot historically well, while still being a great defender and lead Kentucky in assist. He is 100% an above average athlete as the combine numbers would show.

If Bronney with a heart condition goes before Shead, the fix is in.

Last night i heard he might have problems guarding shifty guards one on one

So much for Shead to the Rockets.

What? He was never going to be the 3rd overall pick

Sorry, I’m talking about their second round pick. They just traded it away.

I hadn’t seen that, bummer but if Sheppard is going play point then there is probably a better opportunity on another team

No more picks

We he had a phenomenal vertical and plays defense.

was AJ Griffin injured last year? Just looking at his stats, he backslid immensely in his 2nd year from a mediocre rookie season

This is dumb, Jamal dog walks Kolek

San Antonio coming up at 48, there is still hope!

Jamal is getting straight up disrespected right now.

I hope this is fueling him to have a 10, 12, 15 year career making Money

Maybe Shead’s injury was more serious than they let on?

If not, then he really got some bad advice leaving early. He could have made more will through NIL by staying.

Graduating as a senior isnt exactly leaving early

if you have eligibility left and you’re able to return - you are leaving early.

No I saw him play. Again I am not saying he sucks, but I need to see him play against bigger stronger players on a consistent basis.

I think we as fans sometimes overestimate how good college basketball players are. The drop off between NBA and CBB talent is much greater than say NFL to CFB talent.

Look as a Rockets fan I hope it works out. If he can get his shot consistently it would really help our offense.

Jamal is the 3rd shortest player in the draft and he doesnt have that great of a 3pt shot.

he is my all time favorite coog and was a FANTASTIC college player, im just not sure thats going to translate to the NBA.

thats my unfortunate “hot take”

edit - tied for 2nd shortest
