He likes it at Baylor and he marches to a different drummer. Beside NE is becoming a coaches graveyard. He’s smart enough I believe he’ll avoid it.

This is true. They could be a big dog in the big12 but in the Big10, too many good teams with equal resources and why go to boring Nebraska when you can go to Ohio st etc.
Plus they no longer have Texas ties for recruiting.

I remember them playing Lsu in some bowl games and Neb was a beast bc of the lines and weight room then later Bama and everyone caught up. They don’t have advantages anymore.

Saban’s wife didn’t like Baton Rouge which is partly why he left Lsu and Baton Rouge isn’t near as bad as Nebraska.
Much closer to Texas recruits and TX/OU game.
Many north Texas students go to OU as a back up to UT but hardly anyone thinks about Nebraska.
