Why not a Charles McClelland? Chair of the ncaa basketball committee - has worked miracles at tsu and prairie view and is a commissioner that has been in the room with all of the big dogs. Wonât complain about budgets as heâs been exposed to all levels
Charles has a sweet gig. Doubt heâs willing to give it up.

Heâs worth a call in my opinion - our new approach needs to be people who deserve P5 opportunities that has proven they can deliver with less which makes their job easier in some aspects as they have more toys at their disposal
Going get an assistant AD from UT or former AD from whatever P5 isnât exactly moving the needle if theyâre going to fight you over negotiations and complain what they donât have
We all know the strengths and weaknesses here - there are plenty of folks who could turn some of the weaknesses into strengths overnight with right hiring practices

Yeah, not only have they not named an AD, thereâs been no credible reporting to my knowledge of any real candidates besides Dickey.

We should create a new position, Vice President for athletic sponsorship, business and corporate development. Let her do that and have the AD take care of sports. Her position would be equal to AD.
