Classic ESPN.

If it wasn’t 3 times

ESPN also was wrong about last time we beat a top 10 team on the road. They said it was Texas in the 80’s

Sumlin and Keenum beat #6 Oklahoma St. in Stillwater.

They said 1979

Maybe they meant as a ranked team.

They meant our last win on the road in a Top 25 matchup.

I couldn’t believe it, personally…

Last night espn’s coverage showed to everyone that espn could care less about the BIG12. Not once or twice but three times they made crucial low production errors with misrepresenting HCWF then at other times they had our logo with the ute’s QB. The camera production was atrocious. Remember that espn like other networks use third party equipment to broadcast these games. Last night showed how much money espn spent with their sub contractors. You compare it to the BYU vs Notre Dame production and it was night and day. We did not even have a “segment” when Patrick was spear headed by the ute’s player. TNT or FOX clearly value the BIG12. On top of that these announcers were clueless.

I interpreted it as both teams in the top 25. Otherwise, they would have said, “against a top 25 opponent”.

I still don’t know if they were correct or not.

Okie State has to really hate us these days…

Misidentifying UH for Utah more than once was inexcusable.

When you get the C-Team broadcast crew, you get a C-Team broadcast.

Other than the loss, the only thing I was truly disappointed in was the broadcast being RUINED by having the stadium PA announcer’s absolutely annoying homer commentary override what “should have been” the discussion and analysis from the broadcast booth.

So, yes… there were absolutely a number of issues with the broadcast that completely stained the experience, from a Coog Fan’s perspective.

That said, I can’t wait to get these high desert cowboys down in Houston to feel the “Houston Heat”; literally, and figuratively.

Payback for this one will be SWEET!

Go Coogs!!!

PS: The season ISN’T over!!!

As I said earlier, the crew s and the production was horrible. Felt like a biased broadcast in addition. This crew had to be the worst ive heard in awhile.

It’s wild the amount of people who have complained or voiced displeasure with the audio and the TV announcing last night. I understand with that many people noting the sounds of the game, it was probably true. I must have had tunnel vision and ignored the “noise” as I was so glued to what was happening on the screen. I could live without TV announcers if I had to

Yes, this was it.

And it seems like a stat intended to make us look even more underdog-ish. We’ve certainly won road games against top 25 teams more recently than that.

Arizona St was ranked when we beat them last year.

Yes but the stat was when UH is ranked on the road vs another ranked team.
