Nunez statement about TW

You made the claim that he was ineffective. I’m not sure why you’re saying that.

Answering questions with questions doesn’t help me understand your point.

Van Hook has had a good career? Good for him. I wish him well at Rice. I don’t think he will be the difference in this program making a regional or not next season though and hope Pat Hallmark is still available when the AD decides the program should try a new direction.

It doesn’t matter.

I don’t see anyone making a fuss.

Baller did several notches up.

The buck stops with the coach he hires asst coaches, has final approval on who we recruit and sign to scholarships and decides who plays. If you don’t win then someone else needs to come in and do a better job.

I said is that I think it is funny that TW’s first assistant leaves for RICE a couple of days after he met with Nunez. I am sure he told him his staff would remain intact. There were then a couple of questions about Van Hook and I replied to them.

So his message to us is to stop being negative and come out and watch the games “for the kids.”

Please.

Your grace period for baseball is over. If you want support, have the courage to do what’s needed to earn it. Neither the “kids” nor the program are entitled to support from a fanbase that has been crapped on for several years. That’s not how this works.

  1. He needs to work on his evaluation skills. Evaluate this: last regional appearance, 2018; only 4 top-40 finishes in Whitting’s 15 years. What more does he need to evaluate.
  2. Saying you have expectations is vague. At least he was honest enough to not say high expectations.
  3. Don’t tell me to “stop the negativity” while giving me another reason to be negative.

If I’m Nunez I bust in the office door and……

Right?

Evaluate this, because it’s how the stands will likely look during the season next year.

Except for the red “dirt patches” I like the way the field looks. I still hope that a new grandstand will come to fruition one of these years.

It’s how they’ve looked most games last 4-5 years

suprises me Nunez doesn’t do something about baseball. baseball, mens and womens hoops and football are they only revenue generators; they should be a priority

It’s mind boggling…Nunez isn’t calling the shots on the Baseball Program obviously

14 years and we moved up from 112th to 94th?!?!?!?

If we have donors that support that what the f---- are donors even for? I wonder if we would have kept Clyde if the donors had wanted us to. Or RayMac, Helton?

This is akin to a chic saying, “I know my sugar daddy curses me out in public but he takes me to Cheesecake Factory every week.”

Yes, he is. He just doesn’t have any balls! Anyone can fire the WBB and Softball coach. Nobody cares. Fire someone when it matters.
