So that’s a positive.
Dana’s UH teams showed up better offensively than Fritz.
I wish that we still had Tom Herman.
But Dana’s teams refused to play defense
That’s not saying much. Dana’s offenses were bad.
In fairness, this Tech team might have a better defense than anyone Holgo played.
Or try against teams that “didn’t make sense.”
Not really. Our offense stunk against P4 comp under Dana.
Dana was actually such a disappointment that one of the most electric quarterbacks in recent cougar memory D’eriq king basically invented the infamous sit out, redshirt and transfer rule after Dana and his offense came in as less than advertised
You could say Fritz teams refuse to play offense. Coogs under Dana up 21-7 on Tech in 2021 at half and 30-33 OT loss at Tech.
Still blaming Dana, lol.
Willie is getting paid $4.4M a year so I expect a lot better game planning and execution on offense than what we have seen the last two weeks. He needs to get it together and come out strong to start games. This is his team.
I’m sure FAU does, too.
We didn’t beat Tech under Dana but had better showings. Look it up. Not saying letting go of Dana was a mistake but staking facts.
That was TxTech under HC Matt Wells in 2021 (who had a notoriously bad defense & was known to be a somewhat bad game manager), not with their curent HC, Joey McGuire.
This could’ve been his program. But hindsight is 20/20
Joey. Previously served under Baylor and high school.
My bad, corrected the name. Thanks.
Because he played worse Tech teams. He lost to a 6-6 Tech team in ‘21 by 17. Lmao
Were those Shrek teams as good as this version?
He’s available, and for a reason.
