Not sure if those of you at the game noticed Elmo Wright getting his jersey retired but I talk to him regularly. Elmo has met Fritz and said he is the real deal.

I stand by my theory that Holgorsen only came for a final big payday before going into retirement as he thought he can coast through the AAC until the Big 12 announcement was made.

We are going to be better over the course of the season (in composite) than what we showed last night. I’m not sure Tech will be better than what they were.

They’re a very good team but I don’t think their offense is anywhere near a NC group.

I think any of Miami, OSU, Oklahoma, or Oregon would rip Tech’s arms off and hold them to 10 points

Holgorsen actually was trash. Dude was playing sub-.500 ball in the AAC. If not for a well-timed season with a healthy dose of luck and perhaps the worst schedule in UH history, he’d have been gone much sooner.

They feel great because they went and bought a mercinary team. They would be playing teams in a bowl game that also have big money and built a team. Tech will choke and continue their winless streak in major bowls. What be funny is if they hace to play OU, UT, or A&M who can be their daddys again and whip them again.

I am 100% for buying mercenary teams and it can be done the right way. There are many on that team that were players that we contacted while they were in the portal.

Im just saying that it be such irony if theve had to play any of those teams who also have major funds that can whip them like the old days. I never root for UT but I might just because of the complete irony of Tech getting beat by UT again. Im rooiting for all Big12 teams in bowls but Tech and their trash fanbase
