No and the buyout is literally the only reason.
Sam is definitely firing Longo and Penn State already wants to run Matt Campbell off but they can’t.
Venables is gonna get 1 more year.
I think Prime gets 1 more year as well.

I was watching them play New Mexico St. and it was hard to watch. The only reason I kept watching it was because nothing else was on.

Having multiple Sam grads in the family, and having went there for a semester myself, I keep up with them as much as possible. They look like they just meet ten minutes before kickoff and wing it.

He’s done an objectively terrible job there.
He runs an “air raid” variant, which is probably more difficult to put in place with the amount of player movement that happens now.
I’ve got good Sam friends that have season tix. They are elated.
I’ve heard Slade Nagle’s name is being mentioned as a possible replacement for Baylor’s Dave Aranda and Oregon’s OC, Drew Mehringer.
I could see him go to the davidians but why would he go to Oregon as an OC?
Both the Oregon and USC HC’s are on the hot seat especially if UCLA keeps winning.
Lanning has one more season… I think. His off-season hires for OC and possibly DC will determine his future at Oregon. They also need
a new QB to run the offense. Not having a solid backup for Dante Moore crippled any chances of being contenders in the B10.
I seriously hope they don’t go after Nagel. He isn’t the best OC but he’s been solid for most of the year. Obviously having the right personnel matters.
Many here have said our offense is too bland during games, now our OC may get a HC job.

Mehringer was fired at Oregon. Lol I hope Baylor hires a guy who has been fired from every OC job
Baylor isnt going to hire some assistant…They are going to hire a good HC like when they hired Rhule.

Oregon has no excuses especially Lanning. Like uta they print money. Unless Nagel is offered a life changing contract he would be foolish to go there.
I’m not ready to read Oregon their last rites, but I’m not ready to put them in the CFP either. They lost their QB for the season, Dante Moore, and replacement, Dylan Raiola was not expected to start until 2027. Oregon still has huge games against Ohio St., Michigan, Michigan St., and Washington remaining. Oregon can play a role in who gets to the B1G’s CCG.
