OT - Houston Rockets

I’ve only gotten to watch a few of their games because I’m out of market… but Amen looks legit!

So glad basketball isn’t over yet… Rockets can make up for our disappointing end to the Coogs’ season… Red Nation!!!

Amen is gonna be a superstar….great pick.

We have a nice bench as well ( when everyone is healthy)….we don’t have as much of a drop off as most teams do.

They have definitely outperformed my expectations….i was hoping we could just make the playoffs this year….a #2 seed and 50+ wins?!

They are atleast a year ahead of my projections….winning a playoff series would be a success IMO….making the Western Finals would be pie in the sky.

Rockets have a 3% chance to land the top pick, aka Cooper Flagg, in the draft… :crossed_fingers:

They don’t have much playoff experience, so that’s a factor, but the way they’ve been playing defense, I can easily imagine them winning at least one playoff series. I could also see them going out in the first round.

Regardless, they’ve turned into a watchable team again, which is a huge step from where they were at the beginning of last year.

I think the NBA chooses where they send their top pick.

We’ll send it to us so we can keep building a dynasty.

It would be nice. I saw one mock draft with us getting Derik Queen and another with Maluach.

Rather have Queen.

We don’t need a 7 fter that can’t rebound….dude is soft.

ZERO rebounds in the Final Four game

And only averaged 5 in the tournament and a little over 6 per game for the season including all of the lollipops in pre conference….and the bottom 2/3 of the ACC.

At 7’2” and 250 you should be wrecking shop.

Yeah, that was pretty wild.

Imagine if he played for Sampson. He would be like Hakeem. lol

Just Top 4 would be so sweet.
17.3% chance.

If they don’t move up.
Some mention of Durant to Rockets for that pick back.
KD w 1 year deal left.
I don’t love it.
KD miserable on the court for years now despite value on offense.
All changes on a good team?

2027 also looking very good.

I’d give the Suns back that first….but KD is no longer worth a pile of picks.

It would probably rejuvenate KD to go after a Championship in his home state.

Pollard, which Home State?

Edit: KD is from Maryland/DC area.

I already knew but i still went n looked it up. Born in Wash D.C. but played in H.S. for Oak Hill Academy n couple other Schools in County in Maryland ( suburbia D.C.) just outside of D.C.

Well he has a house/condo in Austin….thats what I was referring to.

No problem. I’m sure he has houses in several cities/States.
