OT - Houston Rockets

Sigh, tremendous two handed block from Adams that leads to a Curry 3

I think that they should have kept Adams in

Haven’t followed the NBA closely for a bit now, but is it normal for a team to draft a guy 3rd overall and the player is so bad he plays zero minutes in a playoff series? The few times I watched Reed Shepherd he was awful and a turnover machine.

Just too many losing plays being made all over the court with this group. When you can’t play your leading scorer in crunch time because he’s a flake, it’s gonna be tough.

Pretty timely crap foul call by the nba

Good players play 15+ years, it’s hard for rookies to crack the rotation. Especially with the Rockets only running a 8 man rotation.

We have too many kind of good players. Also last years draft was considered to be one of the worst draft classes ever so that 3rd pick was basically the equivalent of 10th pick in a normal draft.

Terrible shot

Not ready for prime time yet.

I’ve seen enough of this core already. Trade for Giannis.

Green is a no show. He has so much potential but streaky shooters are bench players.

WTF Rockets!

This team doesn’t have the offensive firepower with an ineffective Jalen Green. Sengun and Van Vleet kept us in it tonight but it’s not enough.

This is what makes the NBA special? Ive seen better from sasquatch state.

Rockets missed 12 FTs, Warriors missed 2.

Our gm drafts dudes with jank shots. It’s a miracle we are in the playoffs

Warriors in 6. Maybe 5, if they continue to shoot free throws the way they did tonight.

Most of the high picks these days are on terrible teams so they get a much longer leash. Its pretty rare for a team to be good a season after picking #3. Rockets had a great regular season and Shepherd didn’t really play PG at Kentucky so learning a new position is going to take time I think he really has to crack the rotation if he is here next year or the pick starts looking like a bust.

I don’t know what this means. The No. 2 pick came down to Green or Mobley. Cade was the clear No. 1 while everyone knew Mobley and Green were going 2-3.

Also, Green shot above league average from 3 this year. He is an absolute hero or goat in high intensity situations. He was out of his element tonight with the turnovers, missed assignments on defense, and lack of creation off the dribble. Dude is a complete mystery to me.

Green is an amazing talent and can score from anywhere. But he’s not THAT GUY who can be counted on to make clutch plays in big situations. He’s more like an uber-talented shortstop that pulls his hat down over his eyes and goes into a pouty funk after he makes an error or strikes out, and you lose him for the rest of the game.

I want to give him the benefit of the doubt because he’s still early in his career. I just don’t see the mindset required to lead a team to playoff series wins, and he’s in his 4th year in the league. At some point, you have to believe the guy is who he shows you he is.
