I know this might sound crazy but I have no problem giving Cam Whitmore and go get Quentin Grimes to replace Green this offseason. Use Green as a trade chip to bring in veterans to help this young team. We need dawg mentality for playoff. Regular season games are so soft and doesn’t prepare them for playoffs.
Durant doesn’t sounds as bad right now if we don’t have to give up too much for him. Giannis would be a pipe dream but I think he will ask for a trade this offseason. With Lillard out for next year, he doesn’t have any help at all. Time for Rockets to use their young players and draft picks to bring in a superstar or 2.
Draft bust in the NBA have been commin for a long time. Remember Sam Bowie drafted ahead of Michael Jordan. Other names off the top of my head, Greg Odom, Anthony Bennett, Adam Morrison, Kwame Brown, Darko Millic, and James Wiseman. As for Sheppard, did anyone really think he’d shoot 50 percent threes in the NBA. I’m not sure that one college year was not a fluke
I was just wondering about Cam Whitmore. I haven’t watched the Rockets much this season until now, so I don’t know why he’s not getting minutes. I know he can be undisciplined at times, but there’s no denying his talent.
One thing I noticed is that Cam is much stronger and more aggressive than Green. I still like green, but as the leading scorer is our leading scorer he can’t be a complete no-show in the playoffs when it matters most.
Cam was so bad on defense this year when he played, for the most part. Early on, he was out there trying to score all the points and doing too much, but he settled in on that side of things a little bit. That being said, Green wasn’t getting it done on that side, either, so what do you have to lose?
Cam is an unbelievable talent, the knock on him is more on the team aspect of things. Hes an iso machine but running sets off ball, distributing and playing sound team defense need improving.
Bari needs to be playing more than 22-25 minutes. Wake up Ime!

Ime will be riding with JG and hope he can go on a hot streak. If not, GSW will end the series on Wednesday. I still think we can win the series if somehow both JG and Sengun wake the eff up same game.
Yeah, aside from some of the boneheaded plays, missed FTs are just killing them. With 31 FT attempts, they should have won last night by double digits, and even if they just had shot their regular season average, they would almost certainly have won.
I agreed. But if JG can somehow get it going, I do think we have a fighting chance. We don’t necessarily need a game 2 JG but we can’t have game 1,3 & 4 JG. Going into the series, I thought we need JG to scores 25+ if we were gonna take the series. He’s been a major disappointment so far.
Sam Bowie and Greg Odom had serious injuries early in their careers which derailed their NBA careers. I make a distinction between players whose careers were impacted by injuries vs players who simply do not develop.
