OT: Louisiana Governor Wants Live Tiger at LSU Games

Kittens have more fight than the offense we put on the field.

You can take 11 random cougars over 40 in the stands and they will find young men faster than we find the endzone.

I support having Shasta at the games. These animals are pampered more than your best pet. You say it is cruel because it is not there natural habitat, nature can be cruel, it is eat or be eaten in the wild. With no predators, they can thrive in peace. Shasta was at the games for years with no problems, except she did not like Bevo.

Having a live cougar at a game with explosions, sirens, screaming fans…sounds like a great idea.

Well, that and the couple times she bit people.

And the fact that three out of five Shastas were retired because the Cougar Guard couldn’t control them.

Here are some views of Mike the Tiger’s habitat. Mike is the only live tiger living on a college campus.

Current Shasta is a dude.

Possibly why original Shasta was a smaller female, a little bit easier to control than an alpha male. Mike is a big dude.

Yep, he and his brother. They were orphaned at a very young age and most likely would not have survived.

Damm right and they can be really useful! To soothe nerves, methinks we just take Shasta, and Louie, from the zoo-transport in a huge A/C van to the stadium and walk them both in front of the faithful, then release them both in the Coogs locker room right before kickoff. Of course to be humane, we leave a few raw bones and meat sprinkled around the room, preferably on the lockers! Those players that get to the field can play!

A somewhat similar strategy worked for Nascar legend Ricky Bobby.
