OT: NFL Draft

I can’t believe Tanner Koziol hasn’t been selected yet.

I want him to go as high as possible (to the right fit) but this Kansas City native and Coog would LOVE to see him land with the Chiefs.

Very surprised to see so many TEs picked ahead of him.

I hope he has an illustrious pro career!

I expected Allen to have been taken by now.

So much for the texans picking Koziol. The player they picked is ranked (TE’s) about three spots higher than Tanner…and they selected the guy in the second round.

Finally drafted a WR. I like what I read about Lewis Bond.

Allen is expected to be a free agent. At 5’11", 288 lbs., he is considered undersized for an NFL DT. To much emphasis on measurables and not enough on productivity. Allen has a better opportunity as a FA landing in a scheme he is better suited for.

The only remaining UH players that may be drafted are CB Latrell McCutchin Sr. and RB Dean Connors. I suspect both will be invited for tryouts as undrafted free agents if they don’t get drafted.

I must have mixed him and Koziel as who was too light for the position from the TV broadcast or article I was thinking of.

Signed one helluva punter.

This is certainly a homer take but according to CBS Sports, the Texans are pursuing RB from Oregon, Noah Whittington, as a UFA. No knock on Whittington’s ability, but it would have been a great story for the Texans to sign former Rice and UH player Dean Connors.

That would be a first in professional sports in Houston. Rice :arrow_right: UH :arrow_right: Texans.
