OT: Retro UH Merch Drop

Lol I put off my late night spending urges. Will take another look tonight. Had my cart loaded up with way too much, have to narrow it down a bit.

That stuff is straight :fire: :fire: :fire:.

Love this logo, but I wish merch producers could get through their heads that retro logos don’t have to be distressed logos.

Give us some crisp clean retro logos, like the logo would have looked if you bought it new back in the day.

@Sukie - they have others that are not distressed.

As a cheap person by nature I have a foolproof system. I load the cart up during the day, then partake in a few beverages that night to lower my inhibitions, then hit that buy button.

This Cougar looks like he is showing up to kick some ass! Don’t get in his way!

Nice… thanks. It’s amazing how agile they are to implement my suggestions.

Glad to see the Jordan UH polos back in stock, too.

I don’t understand why the bookstore would be closed on gamedays. Really. Don’t they realize that they can see A LOT of stuff then?

Wow this is really cool

Coog Fan members should call the bookstore and ask them about their weekend/game day hours. Escalate, if needed, to the manager in a friendly, non-Karen way. Mention the amount of money they’re leaving on the table.

If it boils down to corporate because the bookstore is a Follet tstore, calling them is part deux.

UC Bookstore is open, game day, 8am-1pm.

Edit: Sadly, no one at UH knows when the heck the Team Store is open. They say it should be open (possibly at 9? which is kick off and there are supposed to be tents selling merch). All I’ve learned is that it’s also run by Follett, but the bookstore employees and UH athletics customer service, itself, is unaware of the hours. Unfortunately, I was unable to further escalate this up any known chain. How ridiculous.

Per UH Bookstore manager, the Team store is permanently closed. Pushing the issues at Academy aside, this closure is beyond stupid.

Ordered my shirt and hat Monday or maybe Tuesday and they arrived today. Pretty quick work by the bookstore. My throwback car decal is on back order, darn.

Absolutely love the “marching to whip someone’s ass” coog logo. I’m going to wind up with a shirt or two for the gym, and would love that on a headcover for my driver.

Hate the wetcoog, and I can take it or leave it on Thundercoog.

In addition to Thundercats, it also has a K-State vibe that is not great for the conference we’re entering.

This remains my submission for what our logos should generally look like:

The claw-marks in particular would be distinctive.

I dig this one, but between this & Thunder Coog, I like Thunder Coog more.

Just past by the Bookstore today on my way to vote on Campus.

They are closed on Saturdays, but I agree, Game Days are probably when they’d be making $$$ off of those of us that can actually pay for their merch.

I was planning on getting some of the retro shirts there for the game tomorrow, but by the time I was done voting (shortly after 4PM), they were closed.

Now it doesn’t matter if I go before the game because they’ll be closed anyway.

@strakerak - Something else to perhaps bring up with Athletics on the next meeting yall have?

Closed the team shop?

Great marketing

Direct sun light in Texas is hot. I prefer WHITE caps . . . . . like my Dave Williams Golf cap . . . . .

I’ve been trying to go to the campus store since they changed companies but haven’t had the chance because i won’t make it before 6 to look around and feel the material.

My biggest thing is add an extra hour to close at 7 if there’s not enough traffic on Saturdays.

I don’t think it’s good for them to open Saturdays unless maybe game day but they would know. They closed the game day one by the garage for a reason and they carry stuff inside the stadium. I just don’t know if it’s all the stuff in the bookstore.
