There are some big money donors who have hinted that they would have not problem taking care of the buy out. At least that is what some of my UT friends have said.

The only coaching option I see for UT would be Matt Rhule but I do not think he wants to deal with the headaches of being a UT coach. He has a low pressure good deal at Baylor.

Then what’s their problem – aren’t those standard descriptions of everyone in the athletic department, school administration, and majority of fans? He should fit right in with those underachieving A-holes.

UT fans are in meltdown mode. UH fans are completely apathetic. I’m not sure which is worse.

You can be sure that if Saban or Urban Meyer (IMO he is going to USC) were available they would print puf money to make it happen. puf money is endless that is why uta is where they are.

I still say Sumlin and Herman owe 50% of their income to Case and King. They sucked without those guys.
Having a great QB in the AAC can make you a lot of money.

In the long run Briles, Sumlin and possibly Herman could have stayed at UH and made more money. Right?
My favorite negative comment I heard was “White Sumlin”
I expect him to return with many of the coaching staff not. A couple of the very good coaches plus the best recruiter in the bunch.
