In the dorm everybody knows somebody with a car, we used to eat at the restaurants off 59 and drive out to the HEB at 610, the students would figure out how to get over there.
I think this kind of development could revitalize the entre area. Would not be shocked if nothing happens with this anytime soon, it is a massive undertaking, but this kind of thought shows they are starting to think outside of the box.

Oh I think Uncle Tillman has some experience in developing a district such as this with the River Oaks District as well. I think if he is involved with this effort the thought, care, and quality of the development will be enhanced. Just my thoughts.
This whole idea is similar to the proposal being expressed for the astrodome.
Developers are not asking for this entertainment district, the university is trying to sell the idea to developers. The real tell will be who puts up a proposal and is willing to put up their own money to develop the district.
That is correct. Talking a good game is one thing, actually putting the money forth is a whole different matter.

Perhaps the Saudis & their oil $$$ would be interested if no one else is willing to move fwd with the project?
