It’s from when Dana was traveling with this years team as a reporter. Weeks 1, 4, and 5.
He ranted like that when he was an assistant. I was at the hurricane Air Force game at SMU. It was embarrassing to say the least. After that I was against him coming from WVU here.

It was year before last and it was a distraction to team.
I’m surprised HBO hasn’t approached any teams to have a Hard Knocks: College version. I think that could be a good idea. In terms of $. Even without any preseason games being played.
Now you know a coach like Saban would be against it but he ain’t coaching anymore.

So… I scoured the internet looking high and low for that footage. I remembered vividly during the 2022 season that there was a camera crew following the team as if they were filming a documentary. But that documentary never came into light. But I finally found the trailer to what could of been.
It was called The Program: University of Houston. There’s even an IMDB page of it. The Program: University of Houston (TV Series 2024) - IMDb It was produced by the same people who made the 30 for 30 film Pony Excess.
Anyway, here’s the trailer I found on Vimeo. I would say that it’s pretty interesting.

I believe that’s exactly what happened. Not going to be approved by the president nor the AD. Need to protect the brand.
