I’m 100% all in on this happening. Getting the opportunity for exposure overseas against a perennial powerhouse is a GOOD thing. I would certainly give up our side of the Home and Home for this. At least fans will be in the stands for that one.

Absolutely getting money to do this. University of Kansas is playing in London this year and a google ai search says they are getting $2.7 million PLUS travel expenses.
Maybe in the sense that hey look we had a game in London, that’s how amazing UH is but don’t think we’re going to be signing any prospects in London.
Absolutely yes, both exposure overseas and tv at home. This year’s game is part of Fox Sports “Big Noon Kickoff” (per Google AI) - I would expect something similar in 2028.

Which stadium?
Tothenham has a retractable field that allows for a turf fueld to be installed. It is stored inside the satdium like att that has about six rolled up fields.
I’d rather us play OU in Houston unless we make a ton of money difference overseas and it’s sold out.

Spread the brand, internationally. Have more merch available in London than your local Academy and Fanatics combined. This is merch money that wasn’t budgeted. Bring Texas BBQ and country music there for the week (it is already there). Make it a celebration for the Londoners.

That game needs to be played on campus as it was agreed to be. I’m pretty tired of moving home games to other venues. These games need to be played on campus. I figured they would try and get out of the return game though when the series was announced.

When we played a G5 schedule and decent P5 programs refused to play us I would 100% agree this needs to be on campus, but we are in the Big12 now, if we can make more money and raise the profile of our program I will dig out my passport.

We’ve been to the UK a handful of times over the past ten years and have become huge Anglophiles. London is an amazing city. I am so envious of Londoners’ ability to get anywhere in that massive city on the Tube, with no traffic at all. Museums are amazing. Food is incredible (don’t believe the stereotype). If you have time to take a train into the countryside, it’s beautiful. People are amazing. And those accents…
