Rhonda Rousey is why… She doesn’t need a pistol.
Though many good reasons exist for women to conceal carry, a made-up statistic is not one of them.
Look, thinking about a female pulling a gun on the attacker is just bad thinking.
If we are talking about domestic abuse cases, that is a very bad option to take.
Priority in domestic abuse cases is to diffuse situation and escape and take legal
actions.
If we are talking about robberies, be prepared for return fire. Not a nice way to
go home…unless you mean a funeral home. The attacker has the element of surprise
and may have a weapon too. Try to deescalate . Using deadly force is seldom the right
approach.
Yup you would need the gun to be the equalizer against Rousey. Using that logic i think your stat is way off. So many guys are weak.
Of course the terrible example is Trevon Martin, who was killed because a grown man was afraid to get beat up. The great equalizer meant instant death.

I may have exaggerated but the point is valid…
I was a state wrestling champion many years ago…. I feel pretty confident hand to hand but I can’t kick a bullets a$$.
Do you remember the olden days of UFC when they would have some guy come out that was black belt this and black belt that…. Then in the other corner was “ Tank” the wrestler and it would take no more than a couple of minutes for the wrestler to have the guy on the ground and beat to a pulp……good times.

If you assault someone, in ANY SITUATION, they have the right to defend theirself… With a pistol if they have one… Period.
They really need to make this illegal in Brooklyn so it doesn’t happen anymore… 
Not talking about right to defend yourself. That’s a given. Just wandering what the real
data is on success of women pulling a gun on the guy in either a domestic case or
assault case. What are the outcomes?

Equalizer = killing the person without a deadly weapon. To me that seems an unequal response. You get to kill. We need the Star Trek Phaser set on stun
It the same difference, a little person is afraid of the bigger person. The equalizer applies to weak guys just as much as women. Every kitty cat in America should own one so they don’t have to worry about being overpowered by someone stronger
