Per Thamel: LSU claims nobody told them Haulcy was suspended for the first half of the Clemson game due to the fight vs BYU. LSU blames us and the NCAA

Come on LSU… it is called due diligence on your part when you buy things. Don’t play the victim card with us.

Wouldn’t the NcAA notify the player as well ? Seeing as how they were directly involved in the incident?

Now everybody knows. So deal with it

They should if they don’t. Players are only loosely affiliated with teams now. Plenty of info will get lost if the players aren’t notified directly.

Didn’t he hit the portal before the spring game ended? The staff owes him no favors.

Sounds more like Haulcy lacking transparency. Haulcy: “But you never asked if I had any pending suspensions this season.”

Also, has LSU ever heard of the phrase “due diligence”? I bet they have now.

No. Immediately after playing in it.

He was ejected, which means suspension. If LSU didn’t do its homework, that’s on them.

Yeah… why would UH be at fault here?!? This isn’t the NFL. There are no ‘trades’. The player left out of his own volition.

Appears to me LSU doesn’t have confidence in Haulcy’s backup to play effectively for one half.
