Thrice UH has gotten over on LSU:
Kim Helton’s Cougars beat LSU in Baton Rouge, and LSU Head Coach Gerry DiNardo gets fired the next day.
LSU courts UH Head Coach Tom Herman for Head Coach, seems to seal the deal, and Texas blindsides LSU with a better deal. I’ll say Texas beat LSU, with an assist from UH.
A.J. Haulcy conveniently omits to tell LSU that he is suspended in the first half of the LSU vs Clemson game for a fight he had while playing at UH.

I went to that with the UH Alumni Assoc. That was an experience I’ll never forget.
All this over one half of a football game? But honestly, I don’t give a….

One might expect they watched their savior’s last game,

Buyer beware…GEAUX Away LSU
We have a history of playing lsu close in the past which is true but they are good lately. In 2027 we have to be ready.
I think LSU loses to Clemson and Brian Kelly’s seat gets a little hotter.
They’ll take it out on us in 2027.

From what I recall, Herman was never going to LSU. They negotiated in good faith and realized Herman was using them for leverage against UT (the job Herman wanted all along) and then LSU pulled the plug… And Herman took UT’s money. And LSU took the national championship.
Not sure what kind of “assist” you’re trying to give UH there, but it doesn’t exist. Regardless, LSU is happy to take the “L” on Herman… Along with their natty.
