Anderson is a little more that “awesome” but also surely some would decommit if he came in. The guy played 38 minutes a game last season and would be a surefire starter and VERY expensive. I can’t imagine him walking into this team without Dedan or Hadnot decommitting.
Also Thiam would again push someone else out. We aren’t playing 5 bigs and the ones we have will definitely play big roles
I mean if it’s real then you trade Dedan for Anderson. Same with an impact big or anyone else for that matter.
But I think point remains on paper right now we are short another impact player to really be in the upper tiers.
The only caveat is if there’s players currently on the roster who are much better than this board is aware of. Perhaps there are huge strides by Mercy, Chase, Bryce. I don’t know, but that makes a huge difference
Be careful of mentioning the word “trade”. I got beat up this year, mentioning how I would trade a couple of players who all ended up getting traded at the end of the year.
But in reality, that’s really what’s going on here.
Current roster ain’t going to get it done. If Kelvin came back to win it all, he has his work cut out for him. If he came back to just run it back, that’s another. Crow, highly doubtful but ONE CAN HOPE.
It really seems like some teams are expecting the “5 for 5” rule to pass and are leaving room for that.

We legitimately have like 7-10 guys on our roster for next year that should be good to really good players. We just need a couple of them to rise above their expectations snd become breakout stars for us. Next year’s season will ride on how much development and growth our players go through between now and next season
Tugler is capable of being one of the best big men in the country. Thomas is capable of being one of the best point guards in the country. If you can just squeeze everything out of those guys next year and then have one or two guys emerge as stars then we will be really good

Florida might lose their coach to the NBA Warriors. Albeit, they may replace him with Billy Donovan.
Regarding our team so far, we definitely have some roster spots to fill but I wouldn’t venture to make any predictions on our fate next season due our overhaul and so many other teams’. So many unknowns right now across the board. But we have the best known factor and that is Sampson.
My favorite Haugh moment was Francis dunking on him in the natty. I forgot all that happened after that though.
Aberdeen has to apply for a waiver I believe. He’s played 4 full seasons if I remember correctly
