Maybe. I would hope as the backup if he does. I was really disappointed by his rebounding effort, so even if he was lost in due the midseason add - Iām not in love with it.
There are only a couple of euros who also might declare for the draft and itās now thin in the portal. Nothing bankable left at Center.
BYU seemed to land their choices at 1 2 and 3. They missed on some 4ās and they missed on most of the highly rated centers. It seems they pick a value before negotiations but the market for centers went crazy.

Popeās seat is heating up. Iād be really surprised if he survives less than a sweet 16 next season. And only slightly surprised if he got fired before the season started lol.
There were national guys saying āRobert Wright III is going to be a Kentucky Wildcat unless they have a total disaster of a visit.ā Then he kept whiffing recruit after recruit. And that fan base expects a top recruiting class.

Overall, I think we need at least one sniper, a guard or wing, to replace Sharp. We have two guys in Thomas and Hadnot with enough quickness to penetrate the lanes for assists to our front court players, but we need a proven shooterā¦ Hadnot is super quick but can he shoot like Sharp?
What makes me nervous is not knowing whether Miller, McCarty, or Jackson can make the leap. We saw improvements from Mercy and McCarty towards the end of last season but neither showed consistency as outside shooting threats that can step up when the game is on the line. Jackson, Alozie, and Diane are all unknowns at this point.
If for some Miller or McCarty donāt prove to be consistent outside shooting threats then we donāt have one proven player off the bench that can make shots in big games. No Sharp, no LJ, no Edwards. Not one proven player that can carry the load when the game is on the line.

Would I like having Yessoufou? Yes, but hard to imagine UH going after him after getting Hadnot to commit.
Looks like we have some post players again. Some guys that can drive. So we should get more open looks but who are the catch and shoot guys on this team? We need more
I was hoping UH would be in the running for SF Juke Harris, since UH recruited him out of HS, but it appears there will be a bidding war between Michigan and Tennessee for the Wake Forest transfer.
