Send your prayers and positive vibes to our guy Tank Dell. He went out with a gruesome knee injury on a TD catch today
It’s very bad coogfans.
Hate to say it but I think Tank’s NFL career is over.
Man, he can’t catch a break. Broken leg. Gun shot. Now this. Really feel for the guy.
I think it’s too early to make that determination. Of course, worst case scenario is your go-to move.
What an inane comment. I’m actually basing it on his injury history and the fact that he is undersized. Receivers like Dell don’t last in the NFL unfortunately when they are injury prone.
He suffered a compound fracture on the same leg he broke last year. And unfortunately it’s very rare that player comes back from that in general.
If the Texans didn’t have bad luck, they’d have no luck at all. It’s always something. Diggs, now Dell. Just ridiculous.
Is tank really injury prone? What player wouldn’t have gotten hurt from the way that played out. I don’t recall last seasons injury but wasn’t it somewhat similar? Now if tank got injured by running, walking, or working out then maybe play the injury prone card.
Didn’t one of our own UH receivers suffer a “career ending” broken leg and come back better than ever?
This is what concerns me as well. I think it’s the same leg. I really have to wonder of he will make it back. Prayers up!
Its awful.
Maybe months is traction. Like a car accident injury.
Tank as tough as they come for any size.
Hope Tank still grinds inside if the rare explosive cuts are gone.
Adds 2 the pain that he missed huge NIL by a few seasons.
Patrick Edwards, but that was college not the NFL. And he didn’t break his ankle the prior season.
This situation is different. This is two major ending injuries. But the last play is very bad. The bone was detached. Tank is a little guy relatively and the outlook doesn’t look good.
He broke his ankle last year on the same leg.
He broke a non weight bearing bone his leg and rumors were that he was available to play in last year’s playoffs if the Texans hadn’t used up all of their IR call ups.
This one is different. This one looks devastating.
I hope I’m wrong and he recovers, but this injury is eerily similar to Joe Theismann.
I saw the reaction on Twitter before I saw the play and couldn’t bring myself to watch any of the replays or look at the screen shots. Hope he recovers. I’m pretty bummed about it ngl.
Me too… the Texans seem to be cursed with injuries. We can just never get it to click with this franchise.
Praying!
Having 3 leg injuries in one game is rough.
