Prayers for Mr. Dell. This was unfortunately a freak injury. It looks like his team mates is running into him and despite all of that he still kept and secured the ball. What a player.

I recorded the game because I went to the Coog’s basketball game. I will watch it after I get home from my Sunday school class’s Christmas party tonight. It sounds really bad and I just pray that it’s not as bad as it sounds and regardless, I hope he can come back. As of now, I don’t know the score or anything but this report on Tank.

Son just told me report is dislocated knee cap, surgery to be determined if necessary
whew
sure looked much worse that that

That would be best case scenario at this point

Holy cow if that was the case that would be a dodged bullet.

So it’s not career ending?

I dunno. I was told here that his career is over. But let’s wait and see what happens. You know like reasonable people. Not jumping to conclusions.

Actually after looking up a kneecap dislocation, I may have jumped too fast by saying he dodged a bullet. It can be much worse than a compound. Apparently there is a very much a chance leg amputation can be necessary if the artery was cut off for too long. That’s what happened to Milton at UCF and they basically came within minutes of an amputation being necessary.

And after looking at the photo of Dell’s leg his kneecap was literally turned 90 degrees left. He is by no means out of the woods.

So only unreasonable people are allowed to make assessments? Is that what you’re saying?

Knee or kneecap dislocation? I’m not even an amateur doctor, but don’t think kneecap dislocation is career ending. My son dislocated his kneecap a couple weeks ago, he’s starting to walk on it again now.

I think you mean dislocated knee, which appears to be much more serious and could result in amputation (worst case).

They say kneecap dislocation, but the photo of his knee looks much closer to a knee dislocation.

If it’s the same injury Milton and Bridgewater had, they came back but never really recovered.

Are you saying you’re unreasonable?:rofl:

I guess reading comprehension isn’t your thing
I’m saying you’re making the accusation that anyone who makes an assessment just off things they know is instantly unreasonable.

But you did just confirm that you think people who make assessments before all the facts come out are indeed unreasonable people.

It might be you with the comprehension issues. Did you miss the laughing emojis?

May I also remind you that you were the one jumping to career ending conclusions without any information at all about the injury.

A complete deflection from the argument. And an attempt to ignore your misunderstanding.

I have information about the injury
the photos, knowledge of medicine when it comes to such injury, and the facts that we do know. What do you have other than accusations?

Just stop. The game wasn’t even over when you were predicting his career was over. You thought this was a compound fracture that you compared to Joe Theisman. You also mentioned his broken ankle last year
even though it was a broken fibula.

What does whether the game being over have to do with my point?

Did you even look at the photos I posted? It’s not hard to see why that could be construed as a compound fracture.

Irrelevant, my point was he has a history of severe injuries to the same leg.

Look I want Tank to be ok too. But it’s clear you wanted to start an argument simply because you don’t like what I said. You could have chosen to ignore it but you decided to argue instead so here we are.
