Predict the CFP 2025

Who do you think makes the college football invitational? Not who deserves to be in, but who gets in.

I have:
Big Ten - Ohio St, Indiana, Oregon
I think these 3 are easy predictions

SEC - Tx A&M, Georgia, Ole Miss, OU, Bama
All these are already top 10 and not likely to lose their last games. A&M has toughest and if they lose to UT, they just swap places.

Big 12 - Tech

ACC - Virginia

Indy - Notre Dame

G5 - Tulane

Mostly straight forward as I am not predicting really any upsets going forward. The only real question I think the committee has to face is a 5th SEC vs 2nd Big 12/ACC. Last year they left out Bama, and I do not see them doing it two years in a row (not impossible though)

If for some reason they do decide to ignore the uproar from the “Darling 2” conferences, then the big question becomes do they bump Miami over BYU/Utah for the spot. This would not surprise me as Miami gets good ratings when they are winning.

Hope I am wrong on Bama in which is kind of why I am predicting it.

Texas A&M is a soft 11-0. Haven’t beat a team with a winning record in SEC play.
No Alabama, Georgia, OU, Ole Miss, UT, vandy

Feasted on bad teams

I predict Houston won’t make it :frowning:

replace Virginia with SMU and replace Tulane with North Texas and 4 Texas schools get in

Is that a prediction or a wish?

Don’t care anymore honestly. Nagle has ruined the rest of the season for me with his idiotic play calling

This is on topic.

Agreed. Tennessee would beat A&M.

In fact, all 5 of them “could” beat A&M.

If A&M had to play them, they would likely have 2-3 losses.

I want the two best B12 teams in the CFP. Those seem to be Texas Tech and BYU.

Your reasoning for having three big10 and four sec teams is ludicrous.
It is ludicrous because you only have one BIG12 team. By selecting three and four teams from these two conferences then you ought to automatically include BYU.
You even go further with:
if atm loses to uta they will swap places.
What kind of a full grown man, football fan would come up with one?
If uta gets into the cfp there will be a worldwide uproar reaching all the way to Dodoma, Tanzania.

I think BYU will get knocked out in the semis. But LJ Martin will still win the national championship.

i cant believe i am going to root for texas next week but they got to beat aggie soundly to have a chance to kick aggie out of the playoff and while i might not like texas, aggie; they are a backwards texas cult college imo.

Aggies have a win at Notre Dame, at LSU, and at Missouri.

Here are Tennessee’s wins

Syracuse (just lost 70-7 to ND)
East Tennessee State
UAB (more stabbing victims than FBS wins)
Miss State
Arkansas
Kentucky
New Mexico State
Florida

Not one of those teams is bowl eligible.

lol, a&m isn’t missing the playoffs

And Tennessee is better than Texas A&M, IMO…

You did not read my post well. I said if 4 SEC teams get in then a second Big 12 or ACC team would get in.

Ludicrous in your opinion - post your prediction.

Come up with one what? a prediction?
If that is what you mean then the entire betting world, as that is what betting is, a prediction.

Yes, possible they wont swap places as A&M is high enough not to drop below 10 and has a win over ND.

Post your predictions.

As of right now, the Big 12 has more wins over P4 teams with a winning record than the SEC, ACC, and Big Ten.

But the narrative is we’d be lucky to get two teams in.

It is all rigged.

Its a bogus question.
Thd cfp does nit want two BIG12 teams.
They do? I’ll bd the first one to eat crows.
teetech and BYU deserve a sport into the cfp because so far they earned it on the field.
The cfp does not care about the field. This has been obvious since an unbeaten fsu was left out.
Bunch of a corrupt group of individuals.

I will be pulling for the Aggies, no reason needed.
