Well, my point is that the other team canāt play from behind if weāre not already ahead. Bowman got comfortable in the third quarter because we threw away two or three possessions in the second quarter trying too hard to establish the run.

Actually they called us āfront runnersā which means that they think we will roll over and play dead if they get the lead. They are questioning our teams heart.
Screw their QB. Itās their runningbacks we have to watchout for.
Darrell Henderson leads the nation in yards per carry after contact. Not a good sign considering our tackling this year has been terrible
Tulane pressed out WRs all day long. Thankfully King throws a beautiful long ball.

Most QBs cannot make those throws, but they can hit the short pass all day like no.

Cutting inj the backfield and secondary can be harder in the wet but defenses have to react so quickly that they may be the ones falling on their posteriors.
Typically in mud bowls straight forward strength (think fullback) works better than quick and speedy. How wet the ball is (wet field or wet field and ball in rain) can affect QBs causing shorter throws.
