Answer: the most recent 2024 data, which I posted, showing EXACTLY THAT.

If someone has more up to date numbers to the contrary, fine.
Post them and I’ll stand corrected.

And until then, it’s a bit far fetched to imagine that we went from the bottom to the top in two years or less.

2024 is old news, which was I believe Kyle’s point. I’m literally talking about the most recent transfer window. You can go off of 2024 numbers all you want, no one is stopping you or will argue against you.
But no one has posted 2026 numbers.
Or 2025 numbers.

And people are arguing against, even though they haven’t presented 2025 or 2026 numbers showing any move upwards.

But you’re going to try to use that NIL data in 2026 AFTER UH had one of the most successful portal offseasons in the country… getting some of the most sought after portal players…

Show me 2025 or 2026 numbers that lift us up from the bottom.
Unless and until you can, there’s no data suggesting that we have moved up from at or near the bottom in NIL.
So far, no one has posted 2025 or 2026 numbers to that effect.
If and when they do, maybe we can reassess.
Until then though, the best available data (2024) suggests otherwise.

As mentioned, Kentucky got knocked out early with a $20 million basketball NIL roster.
We went farther with less than half that.
Don’t assume that the roster we have proves anything about NIL.
Some, like UH, do more with less.
We didn’t have the money to outbid LSU for Haulcy, so what makes you think we are a top NIL school in the face of that?
You don’t know that… Haulcy might’ve felt like playing at LSU for the same NIL would give him more exposure to the NFL & a better chance at the CFP…

So no.
We couldn’t match the $1 million + LSU was willing to offer.
Also, Haulcy left before our 10 win season and the supposed influx of new NIL into our program. I wonder if he would’ve left at all after this past season. And LSU definitely gets him more publicity in regards to the NFL.

Given that he tweeted that he was looking for money, which he apparently wasn’t getting at UH, I doubt it.
Of course they are. Those guys don’t want to share any of the revenue with the players and want to control who they play for.
Sorry but I am fundamentally opposed to this and would gladly lend my money and legal skills to challenge it. This is total BS.
This sort of two faced garbage is exactly why I believe that College Sports should be eliminated. The level of greed and hypocrisy among administrators, fans, the media, and now politicians is disgusting.
Get rid of it and you losers can find something else to do on Saturdays.
