part friends from Dallas - coaches who have had great fcs seasons but cant advance and power 5 guys
Difference is im not a professional AD but IF I was:
I wouldnât have 1) rushed to extend a coach in his last year, when nobody was after him & 2) give him an iron clad buyout
That was foolishness
I watched last season. I was at the Texas Tech game in NRG where we blew a huge lead and i watched us lose to Cincinnati- the rest we won but we ALL know last seasonâs schedule was fabricared to get easy wins, stability and an extension.
They accomplish their goalâŠmy point is they didnât have to rush so the buyout is on Pez and TilmanâŠTHEY signed off on it
Our former QB commit from St. Thomas is sitting in the front row.
Get ready, Iâm coming. Lol his words not mine.
And Prime Times kid coming to CU Maddox is likely looking at the portal again.
Kopp should have stayed at UH.

Coach Prime is going knock it out the park. Just watchâŠ
I want to go play at Colorado.
Thats what I have been saying and everyone seemed to be against it. Boy, have we missed out. What we would have gained far outnumber what we would have had to pay out to release CDH.
Their bar scene is amazing too, complete college town experience. Great place to go to school.
Once again we did not miss out because we have a coach under contract.
Even if we had the money to pay Dana off does anyone here honestly think he would have picked UH over Colorado?
Yes. I believe he would have come to UH. Texas ties, better recruiting, P5. It wouldâve been a better fit and an easier turn around.
But we are stuck with CDH and we have to be patient because B12 is hard. Itâs not like heâs had an opportunity to prepare for it.
Prime already laying it down. Just saw a video of him saying heâs bringing his luggage so âsome of yâall can hit that transfer portal now.â Wow.
Weâll see Bro.
Every coach since Barnett has failed there.
As much momentum as he has right now, itâs still a âwait and seeâ what he does under the bright lights.
They played UT in Alamo bowl a few years ago. They had 8 or 9 wins I thought.
Prime is an A1 d-bag from what Iâve seen so far
Prime is about Prime.
Iâm sure heâll get the program on tract and once he does heâll say bye bye and move on to something bigger.
Is that what UH needs? Another Herman who comes in and has a successful season and then moves on within 2-3 seasons? Hell no!!
