Not following whoever comes from the 1 region will play the 4 region and 2 will play 3 region. The ranking is done based on the ranking of the 1 seeds. That’s how I have seen it work. What am I missing?

Pretty convenient that Quad 1’s matter when we were in the AAC but Quad 1’s now are discounted by these talking heads.
