That was last week excuse. Guessing the offense players didn’t have the flu.

CDH has had 4 years to recruit and build this roster…that is forever for most coaches these days

Isn’t this the most points ever allowed?

In 77 seasons? Most ever?

You can compete with less talent if you compensate with coaching. We have the perfect storm of lack of talent and poor coaching lol

This is true…example? Tulane & UTSA

Didn’t KState lose to Tulane this season? Definitely have some areas to improve on but UH has some good talent at the offensive skill positions. Need to either figure out a defensive scheme that works without NFL level cover corners like last season or get some really good cover corners.

Well here’s the thing……if they did quit, that tells you they have ZERO respect for their position coach, DC or HC.

Coaches you have respect for, you will never stop fighting……and this was against a 4-4 team.

If it is the flu its definitely going around my family of 5…4 of us have it. Have a few other families i know that have it as well. Who knows though…

Give me a Fuc/:;ing Break.

What a joke……I swear we r the only team in the country with injuries or illness……what happened to all that depth we were building?!

2 of our 3 coaching staffs are not up to standards….Pez has work to do or he should be shown the door as well.

Does it matter if its a record? 77 points is unacceptable.

So sick of the excuses with this program. And screw Pez. That guy is just a figurehead. I honestly don’t think he makes any decisions.

I thought we blamed Time of Possession and efficient offense for bad defense.

The defense quit. Simple. To think otherwise is to believe that a mediocre smu team became Alabama for a single game.

I,too, think they quit.

There were many plays where our guys did not seem to really try.

There are lots of issues on this team. We saw them immediately in San Antonio, then Lubbock, then the Kansas game.

We all thought that our players liked Belk, that they played hard for him.

Our players performed in a manner that could get Belk fired. So something is way off.

This is my 57th. season of Cougar football and have never seen such a poor defensive performance.

Watched Dana’s post game interview on YouTube. He made it clear he had no clue as he snorted thru the talk. Before that I had watched Saban and Kelly be interviewed after the LSU-Alabama game.

Let’s just say that Dana does not remind me of those men.

Nobody quit. It was a bad game. Nothing more.

I guess I put my long ass thoughts in the wrong thread: Worst 1st Half Defense in UH History? - #24 by theant

I may not know it all but KNOW some of my thoughts might provoke thought.

I would like to bounce it off Belk but would be laughed at. Coogfans’ thoughts?

No, why because Dana can not recruit. Hell we have not been anywhere close to the top in AAC recruiting the last four years.

Unless I am mistaken, every team has coaches.
