Quit?

I thought we blamed Time of Possession and efficient offense for bad defense.

The defense quit. Simple. To think otherwise is to believe that a mediocre smu team became Alabama for a single game.

I,too, think they quit.

There were many plays where our guys did not seem to really try.

There are lots of issues on this team. We saw them immediately in San Antonio, then Lubbock, then the Kansas game.

We all thought that our players liked Belk, that they played hard for him.

Our players performed in a manner that could get Belk fired. So something is way off.

This is my 57th. season of Cougar football and have never seen such a poor defensive performance.

Watched Dana’s post game interview on YouTube. He made it clear he had no clue as he snorted thru the talk. Before that I had watched Saban and Kelly be interviewed after the LSU-Alabama game.

Let’s just say that Dana does not remind me of those men.

Nobody quit. It was a bad game. Nothing more.

I guess I put my long ass thoughts in the wrong thread: Worst 1st Half Defense in UH History? - #24 by theant

I may not know it all but KNOW some of my thoughts might provoke thought.

I would like to bounce it off Belk but would be laughed at. Coogfans’ thoughts?

No, why because Dana can not recruit. Hell we have not been anywhere close to the top in AAC recruiting the last four years.

Unless I am mistaken, every team has coaches.
