Anyone have a link to the map? I’d love to hike this…

(EDIT – see map and link below… intriguing)

That map gives me serial killer vibes, TBH.

It’s been renamed the “Drive By Tour”

Certain blocks do smell like decomposing bodies.

Err, I mean to say, smells like what I imagine decomposing bodies to smell like.

and many times i had driven down braeswood, the bayou smelled like sewage; how people live across from a bayou in houston, i never understood.

Only place I can think of that would smell like sewage was the wastewater treatment plant on Beechnut. I never remember being able to smell the bayou from a car on Braeswood and I grew up on that part of town.

Are you sure you didn’t just fart in your car?

There’s a couple big wastewater treatment plants on Braeswood inside the Loop. The West U one in particular (right by the Rice School) is horrendous.

my gym was on frondren so i drove Braeswood to 610 to get there and i lived near tanglewood and would run the tanglewood walking path, which was probably 2 miles south of buffalo bayou. had many times where the smell of bayou covered both areas. how people in Houston live anywhere near a bayou, i don’t know. i lived in other cities that don’t have bayous; never encountered that smell; so it’s not me.

Speaking of Mothers, that looks like Jimmy Carl Black on the far right.
