I might rank Whataburger over In and Out, I think that they overrate Five Guys, and I prefer Shipley’s (not ranked), over Krispy Kreme and especially Dunkin’ (driest doughnuts ever).
Culver’s is highly ranked.
I’ve never tried it, but they just opened one in Fulshear not too far from my house.
What’s it like?
Jack in the Box? I like their breakfast Jacks, but let’s be honest. Those tacos take the concept of cheap, greasy fast food to a whole new level!!!
I think calling Five Guys and Chipotle “fast food” is a little broader of a use of the label than I’d apply. IMO, fast food basically has to consist of places that very regularly have a drive-thru; “fast casual” is a different thing.
By this standard, basically every restaurant in America has been fast food since at least 2020.
Well, if you have your full order of food at your table within five - ten minutes of ordering And you can eat it, Pay at the cash register, And be out of the location within 25 minutes. That is fast food to me.
Bogus ranking and what is up with that site? I had to restart it like 20 times.
IMO fast food means a drive through. Therefore domino’s, pizza hut and others without a drive through should not be on that list.
Culver’s has a great chicken sandwich.
El Pollo Loco for the money is probably the best.
But if we are arguing about fast food without a drive through…the very best for me is Becks Prime.
Whataburger is too high. Should be below Shake Shack if we are talking food quality and taste. In and Out is deserving of their ranking. Their stuff is great, all things considered.
Shake Shack is good but dollar for dollar it’s a tough justification. My go-to whataburger order is double meat, double cheese Whataburger Jr meal, whatasized. Out the door under $11.
Ok, so which fast food joint has the best FISH sandwich?
Arby’s?
Popeye’s?
Checkers/Rally’s?
The reason I ask is because the MackyD’s Filet of Fish is about the biggest piece of crap around, and I’m looking for a Lenten Friday fast food alternative to the usual Church fish fry.
