UT sucks, I’d much rather play any p5 than them. I’m actually not going to a game if it’s at nrg. If the wussies go to TDECU stadium then I’m game.
They will try and wussy their way out of playing us on home field.

Most of UT fans are just those who like their Tshirts. Fortunately for UT they do not necessarily have to be bowl shirts of late.

Big12 gets those schools in a potential PAC breakup and then we are coming with gas.
Just as long as we don’t bring in California schools. It’s a bit too far for sports.
I do really get a feeling that a PAC -big 12 merger is in the cards.
Either that or another conference starts trying to go after big 12 schools. Houston is the 3rd largest school in the state.
I would think thered be no need for a Cali school. Take the Arizona schools, Colorado, and Utah and call it a day.

Geez, I was just kidding.
The only way that Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, and Utah would consider moving to the Big 12 would be if the Big 10 takes USC and maybe Oregon, Washington, and UCLA. But that’s unlikely, so I wouldn’t count on any PAC 12 schools moving.

Well, you certainly can do whatever you want, but I disagree with that attitude. I also don’t want to play at NRG if it’s a regular conference game. But, if it ends up there, I’ll be there, especially if it’s uta. What if everyone had your same sentiment? I wouldn’t want our young men to see all that orange and very little in red. We showed how we can show up en masse when UH played OU. I was extremely proud of all of the scarlet red compared to the crimson red that was at that game.
However, I don’t see a conference game played at NRG when UH has its own campus stadium.

I see it played on campus bc they can’t force us. I’d give me tickets to Coogs that don’t normally go so it would work out if at nrg which I doubt happens.

Even if UT and OU are around for two more years. They will not schedule any of the new teams with them. Just wait and see.

I hope that the B12 leadership shows that they have a set and make them play whoever the B12 says. Period.

Because the existing members call dibs on the boost that Oklahoma and Texas provide at the gate and concessions

For the remaining seasons that ut and ou are in the conference? Wouldn’t they have to play them anyways as conference mates? I still don’t see how ut or ou have the power to decide their schedule as outgoing members.
It’s not up to UT to decide the schedule. The big 12 does that.

I don’t think UT cares about dodging us but they will push for nrg or Pez will just think more tickets and more money. However, our risk is that we could beat them at home vs nrg. It could mean a 10 pt diff bc nrg isn’t a home game and so we lose the noise factor etc of playing them at home. I hope Pez doesn’t give in or do nrg for it. We need to build our brand with the best chance for a win which is at our stadium.
