the key to this game IMO, will be the same key to the game 2 years ago vs rice when they put up 90 against us…
how do we handle the 4th shooter… fabian did not do a very good job 2 years ago… they have a 4 running offball screens on the perimeter to get shooters looks, and we couldnt anything to stop them… it was one o the few times sampson abandonded his defensive game plan and went to a 2-3 zone, which was how we turmed it around … if we hadnt switched to zone they might have put up 100+
will be interesting to see who starts, an will be interesting to see if we switch to a 4 guard line up and how quick

They also had a couple big time players in Murphy and the other big shooter.
Rice is very young all Fresh/Soph only 1 junior
I have no idea why most of the lines opened at -25. UH now favorites at -13.5. Rice +25 would’ve been the ridiculously smart bet.
