Interesting interview by Petraeus on Ukraine:
The Russian military is sure accident prone:
Prigozhin is now perhaps seen as a Putin rival and less an ally. So, does Putin deny the weapons to weaken his new rival or send the ammo requested? So much for unified command structure.
Putin must choose between helping a (probable) rival or giving up on that front. Happy days!!
Found this video interesting how munitions production in the US is ramping up
from peace time production. Video mentions new plants being built in Texas and Canada(?) to come online in 1 - 1.5 years.
Republican dove ranks appear to be growing. Seems so strange to say that, especially
considering this about Putin and Russia.
This shift in opinion is mostly attributable to the growing share of Republicans who say the U.S. is providing too much support to Ukraine. Today, 40% of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents hold this view, up from 32% in the fall and much higher than the 9% who held this view in March of last year.
Ya know, one would think that the reports that Putin might soon be receiving lethal support from the chicoms would galvanize Republican support for the Ukraine.
Kinda surprising that it hasnât thus far.
Partisanship gone wild. Anything for a Ukrainian defeat which they could then spin into a Biden defeat.
Oh they will be quiet on this and continue to demand the dollars be audited. Though we are not giving them money to buy the arms we are giving them the arms and putting that aid in dollar terms.
Supporting Biden against China, who they rail on as being our enemy, wonât happen because Republicans are committed to derailing (too soon?) Bidens agenda in Ukraine.
Unless you are taking money from the Russians, I canât imagine any politician not supporting Ukraine.
Most likely just hyperbole butâŠcrazier things have happenedâŠ
Anyone who speaks out against Putin should be careful walking by windows.
LOLâŠliterally thought I was in the Political Humor Thread for a moment.
