Full support from day one was needed. Many asked for it. Some feared it could have brought ww3. Two years later where are we now? Basically a stand still.

I agree, they deserved more from us. That’s true regardless of what Europe and others did.
When Russia had their exercises near the border, it was almost a sure thing they’d invade as all their deployable elements were in place. A bit of luck, bravery and good soldiering kept the Russians from taking Kviv in a few days. Surprised me, frankly.
As locked down as we think Russia is, some cracks are appearing. Lots of unhappy citizens who have lost sons and husbands. The Russians are gonna have to look for a way out within the next year.

The entire West rt including us and the Euros. russia is currently selling gas to European countries. How is that for a so called embargo. Regardless of someone’s affiliation we are not doing what Ukraine needs.
Where is the US buying Russian gas?
In any case, that’s another story. I’m not worried about the Europeans. We should worry about ourselves first.
Lifting the Nord stream sanctions was key. It gave poutine a giant making money machine. Sure enough he invaded weeks after. We basically financed his invasion. Still are.

Again, we should do the right thing regardless of what others do. We don’t control Europe and shouldn’t let their reaction impact us doing the right thing.
It’s sad and disappointing that it took so long for us to do what we did this week.

rt we still have not done the right thing. Sending F16’s from the gey go was key.
We should have never gone half way and still are. Keeping the same line and 30 years later we will still be at it.
We are a heck of lot closer than we were last week. And still many are pushing back. It took forever and a lot of maneuvering to even get here. Why?
