Russian Three Star General CAPTURED in Ukraine

He said lock her up!!! Did he?

He uses hyperbole to get your attention.

He succeeded.

The loss of life in any war is horrible. Russia invaded Ukraine and they are fighting for their sovereignty. American troops are not in harm’s way in Ukraine.

In Gaza under your occupation force Americans would be in harm’s way and will likely be killed. You prefer that?

It ends when Russia withdraws its invasion force. They do the right thing, and the war is over. Simple as that.

It would be for a nobel purpose. The rebuilding and de-hamasifying of Gaza. Rebuild it and morph them into a western style democracy that isn’t hell bent on killing Jews. Same as in Germany after WW2.

Very good thing to do.

So Ukraine’s democracy is not worth it. But forcibly removing the people off their land to build beach side condos and democracy is Ok?

I doubt it’ll happen like that.

No I am all for an iron clad security agreement with the United States that doesn’t include Nato. Give Russia the strip of mud and Ukraine gets a defense treaty directly with the United States.

Russia gets the mud and their pride (somewhat), Ukraine gets a defense partner they can trust unlike the Euro-turds.

Lol typical responses from the typical posters.

In Ukraine, Russia invaded and took land that belongs to Ukraine and they should just accept it an move on? Russia did this to Ukraine. Russia is not the victim in this.

Why would Ukraine want the US as a defense partner? Are we going to force Ukraine to give us 50% of their mineral resources?

You never know until you try. But this all about trying something different so we can breakout of the same mindsets and dead ends that have plagued the region for the last 60 years.

I am glad someone has the courage to try.

We absolutely did that exact thing with Crimea. But other people were calling the shots. Crimea was worth something, this strip of mud is a bombed out war zone.

That’s not courage.

That’s naive stupidity.

That’s a powder keg waiting to blow up.

Good luck convincing the population of Gaza to embrace Western style democracy, accept Israel unconditionally, and agree not to view Israel as an enemy. Remember. This is a population that literally elected HAMAS as their government, and hasn’t shown any willingness to overthrow them.

I doubt that he will succeed in winning their hearts and minds.

So it’s a waste of taxpayer dollars defending a sovereign country from invasion, but it’s ok to spend tax dollars taking over another?

You are right, they only want death destruction and terrorist organizations. They don’t want no stinking democracy.

That is the mindset that has locked us into the endless killing and destruction.

Time for a new way of thinking.

We aren’t the ones locked into that way of thinking, so don’t say ā€œus.ā€ Say THEY/THEM.

It appears that there are enough of them are to make that goal a pipe dream at best.

What are you going to do?

Change their minds by FORCE???

We aren’t taking over anything we would be an occupation force like we were in Germany and Japan. That worked out pretty well.

We rebuilt it, we got rid of the Nazis…all good.

Then when we were convinced the Nazis and Japanese warlords were gone we took a step back. We are still in Germany and Japan but we don’t control either country.

Uhhhhh…hold on.

Japan and Germany both surrendered unconditionally to the United States and its allies.

And AGREED to occupation and reconstruction.

Hamas (and for that matter, Gaza more generally) has NOT surrendered unconditionally to the USA and its allies.

Nor have they agreed to such an occupation and reconstruction.

BIG difference Bro. NO comparison. Not even CLOSE.

You’d be naive to think that they will do as Japan and Germany did…and going in without those conditions precedent in place…is a powder keg waiting to explode.

They will or they can live in tents in the rubble. I am sure there were some Nazis and Japanese that didn’t accept the occupation force. But it worked.

No one, NO ONE is rebuilding Gaza with Hamas in place. No one,

There was very little resistance to US occupation of Germany and Japan. Nothing significant enough to pose a serious threat to US forces. As I said, the German and Japanese forces and governments had already surrendered unconditionally, accepted defeat, and AGREED to occupation.

NOT true with Hamas or Gaza more generally.

If we go into Gaza without those very same conditions precedent in place…which we would literally be doing and which would be NOTHING like going into Germany and Japan in the aftermath of WWII…then Hamas…and Gazans more generally will likely view us not as a benevolent occupier and/or reconstruction force…but rather…will view us as an enemy invader engaging in an act of war and forcible conquest.

If you think that Hamas won’t view it as such…and more importantly…treat it as such and use armed force to resist it…then I’ve got some beachfront property in Arizona I’d like to sell you…and I’ll throw the Golden Gate in free.

As I said…powder keg waiting to explode.

so, we’re in the pre world war stage with appeasement to Russia. ok. carry on.
