Russian Three Star General CAPTURED in Ukraine

Your support and admiration of Putin’s tactics is absolutely stunning.

People willing to fight for their country, which was invaded by a dictator,
is a noble cause. Id hope the US would always support such people in
their quest to defend their country by an aggressor. Have you forgotten how the
USSR and now Russia has worked against the US for decades ?

We will be fighting in Gaza forever if we occupy. Or at least until we leave.

Of course not, people that are members of a cult can’t think for themselves. They just outright believe anything their leader says, even if it’s the most ludicrous thing. Like it’s Ukraine that started the war.

You can’t allow guys like Putin to do whatever they want (even if he makes small concessions in a negotiation). We’ve seen this play out before.

You treat those guys like the monsters they are. They are going to force you to do it eventually anyway.

I get the feeling 51 is just trolling us on this one. He seems like a
reasonable guy most of the time; but this take that the war must end and
Russia be given the territory is just indefensible.

Of course he doesn’t address Russia’s crumbling economy and high inflation and
high interest rates ( -10 inflation, 21% interest rates + high debt load etc) either.
And he fails to acknowledge EU total aid to Ukraine is greater than the US too.

Maybe he’s just spending too much time reading the Russian Times.

Now that is one poignant question!

None of you are at the negotiation table.
You have no idea what prompted someone for saying what he did.
I 100% disagree with him for saying what he said.
Europe instead of buying oil and gas from us bought and are still buying from russia. What kind of hypocrisy is this?

Somewhere from the internet….

"The globalist left started the war by using USAID to fund the overthrow of the democratically elected Ukraine government and install a professional comedian (to launder money back to themselves). Then, for an encore, they built dozens of bioweapons labs producing things like Covid on Russia’s border - more acts of war. Yes, the globalist left started the war, and Americans will bring it to a close.”

I’m trying to let this conversation continue despite the political connection but please don’t go too far.

A good rule of thumb: If you’re wondering if what you’re about to post is going too far, it likely is.

This kind of stuff sucks up a lot of mods’ time dealing with flags. We are going to have to shut it down if it happens.

Another ask, please don’t just flag things you disagree with.

Sometimes flags depend on who posts it.

Wouldn’t shutting down all discussion on US involvement in a war (because one stubborn so-and-so has to constantly have their way) be antithetical to inalienable rights and subversive?

I know it’s a fine linenand all but we know who and what the problem is.

No. And I’m not going to argue about moderating. I know you’re not a fan of how it’s done here and I understand your view.

It’s also not just one person.

Doing that would indeed suck, no question.

But it wouldn’t be antithetical to any “rights” per se, because you only enjoy free speech rights against the government, NOT a private entity.

That said, I agree. We have ONE big problem right now concerning US policy on Ukraine, and of course we all know who/what it is.

Enough said.

For those trying to understand why Ukraine is fighting for that “strip of mud”, if Russia invaded Alaska, what would you call a US president who “made a deal” to stop the war by allowing Russia to annex the state and occupy the 730,000 Americans living there? I am just asking a question.

Zelenskyy need not, and must not, have any deal forced upon him by any outside nation that does not guarantee the security and the sovereignty of the Ukrainian people.

That would be (ahem) a double standard. Right?
