Someone met with Zelensky today at the Vatican and is starting to realize that maybe Putin does not want peace and that someone is maybe changing his mind on Putin.
If that pivot happens, I expect 90210 to pivot with him and be all slava Ukraine.

In 2025 Q1, the current seasonally adjusted price growth went down and averaged 8.3% in annualised terms after 12.9% in 2024 Q4.

putin, p.o.s. is a dictator. He is not a dully elected President. He does not care about human life. Russians, historically do not care about human life. Some of you keep thinking with a “Western” point of view. If putin, p.o.s. was doing so badly he would have been overthrown long ago. So why is he still in power?
The only way for putin, p.o.s. to get overthrown is for Russia to no longer sell crude oil to china. The Russian economy is dependent on china. Without china there is no money coming in. The West knows it but has decided to not sanction china for buying Russian crude oil. Why is the West not sanctioning china?

Yes because dictatorships are so prone to letting their people organize, resist, and get all revolution-y on them. I mean that’s what I associate when I think of authoritarians. Not the whole disappearing people, or high rates of fatal window accidents, or non-stop propaganda working on the masses.

Exactly. There was a whole a$$ general who turned his army on the government and marching towards Moscow. A deal was cut and he stopped. A week later the plane he was on fell out of the sky.
But I’m sure if Putin was actually doing badly he’d be overthrown by now. Such astute observations.

Not saying Putin is doing well, because I know he’s a jackhole dictator, but calling the head of a mercenary company like the Wagner Group a “general” is perhaps an insult to legitimate Soldiering.

They were a legitimate supplement to Russian forces, so para-military but very mercenary. They admitted interfering in the 2022 elections. Tey were very, very bad dudes. committing many atrocities over several continents, mainly Africa. He deserved what he got, but he’s the only one who stood up to Putin. It got him dead.

Calling the Presidents of private mercenary companies “Generals” is an insult to anyone who has ever legitimately held that rank.
