Yes, that is what official attendance is, tickets sold/claimed.
Right cause I was there and felt like high school game attendance.
Iâd say over 30 k actual for sure. 10k short of 40k worse case . The upper deck that is normally empty had a decent crowd. At first it was sparce but later filled in and approach the tcu attn . Gotta remember fans are in the concourse vs their seats at any moment so there are thousands there. I think itâs a big 12 effect bc in the aac weâd have maybe 25 k at best.
I thought the crowd was great tonight given the let down last weekend. good showing and good win. go coogs
It looked better on TV than I was expecting.
Another night game with a nice atmosphere once the sun went down. I wish these could start at 7 pm, but you donât get home to 11-11:30. I just got home about 20 minutes ago.
same, live out in Fulshear lol
Yeah, I was very pleasantly surprised with our turnout given that weâre 1-2 with a loss to Rice. There are games in recent history where weâve had much worse turnout with a much better resume.
Yâall are both lucky - I still have an hour to go.
It was pretty comfortable tonight soon after kickoff. It got real comfortable when the team kept putting together solid offensive and defensive series.
Pro tip: if youâre eating that awesome funnel cake, find a place out of the wind. Powdered sugar really carries.
PleaseâŠâŠnot this sh!t again.
You people are too much.
I agree. Even my wife commented that the 300 level home filed side looked to have more. We are in 229 visitor side and was probably 75%. Looks like there are several seats owned by brokers as for the past 3 game plenty of visitors in seats.
It was a decent turnout. Not as lively as prior games this season, but not bad considering there was a Beyonce concert and an Astros game in town to compete with.
BeyoncĂ© has nothing to do with it. Fans arenât excited because Dana is boring.
It was a decent turnout though. That was my main point, considering all of the above and the ânot as excitingâ opponent. Even if Dana wasnât boring, this would not have been a huge crowd.
Watch UH or watch the defending World Series Champion fail epically by losing repeatedly, seeming without end, to the 2 worst teams in baseball on top of getting swept my a AAA team masquerading as a major league team a few weeks ago.
Agree. Better than I expected
We need to support our players that are committed to our program. Fans not showing up to games isnt helping. The whole Dana is boring isnât debatable. The offense isnât explosive but we shouldnât take that out on the players. They need our support.
I was pleasantly surprised. Student section was above 90 percent well into 3rd quarter. Home upper deck was better than I expected. 2nd level on visitors looked well occupied. Sam band section was open, of course. Pretty good showing for a team no one on here had any respect for . . . . .
Aggies would have the financial resources to have been able to fire the coach by now
Thereâs no worthy comparison here- the UH games do not feel like a big time production and that has mostly to do with the crappy coach roaming the sidelines who is fully guaranteed and stealing joy from the game
I was pleasantly surprised when we got there last night. Good attendance considering the Rice loss and that sh*t show of a Big 12 debut.
