Mine said the same thing Grrrr!
Call the ticket office!
Anyone know when the online ticket purchase method will go live?
Have to say I am rather dissatisfied here. Why is it just first call for served for season ticket upgrades? Had that been mentioned I had a small gap this morning I would have called to see about adjusting my seats. Now I get to see if I can find time tomorrow afternoon to call in and see what is left for shifting.
Guess CP points mean nothing. Would that be correct?
You are correct EP. As of today current ticket holders are calling to renew, upgrade and add new tickets.
Apparently Cougar Pride points mean ABSOLUTELY NOTHING at this point.
What a TERRIBLE PROCESS by Pezman and the athletic administration.
I’m not near the top so this would have been a nice bonus. Unfortunately, I have no listing in my renewal when I log in either, so I have to call in to get it done.
They definitely make it hard on new season ticket holders to stay based on lack of communication.
It is definitely an indictment on Pezman. It is unfortunate because he is such a loyal Coog but dude has not done a good job at even the basics.
Looks like there’s really no difference between G5 and P5 - we’re still behaving like G5
Obama’s rollout of healthcare.gov went better.
Agree. Having to physically call to make any of this happen?? Really, no online selection? Is this the 1980s?
My new season ticket deposit only shows that I paid and with a reference number. No further instruction. Does someone me call when my place in line gets here? Or do I need to call at 9am on a particular day? I am a decades-long Cougar Pride donor but it apparently doesn’t matter as I seem to be bunched in with the general public putting down deposits (There was no CP # requested or ability to do via logging in to CP).
What a mess. This I believe is why there’s so much trouble developing a fan base. The whole process start to finish is just a huge cluster…no wonder.
And yet, here I am. Dutifully attempting to get seats. And I’ll be there even though they make it as difficult as possible through lack of communication and convoluted process. Go Coogs.
But hey, on the bright side, if enough folks get turned off that increases my chance at better seats, right? lol.
Thanks for letting me know about renewing my season tickets on this board. I don’t have any notices or emails from Cougar Pride or UH Athletics regarding renewing. I think today is the last day before sales open up to the masses.
BTW, my lower bowl seats shot up drastically, but my upper bowl seats had a nice reduction. Any thoughts on why the upper bowl seats reduced in price?
My guess is that the athletic department raised the lower bowl seat prices to maximize profits, and lowered the upper bowl seat prices to provide purchase opportunities for those priced out of the lower bowl.
Yeah, this is pretty stupid.
Their email from a few days ago said, “If you do not need to make any changes, you may renew your tickets online by logging into your account at …”
When you try to do that, it’s “Sorry, you currently have no applications available online.”
Honestly, it’s a clown show.
Just call the ticket office
From what I was told by the ticket office on new season ticket holder info, an email will be sent out on Wednesday with further instructions. The deposit will go towards any balance or payment plan
Tickets for new season tickets go on sale next week I was just told by UH ticket office. UT fans will be all over those 175 and 253 tickets. Maybe even the 331 ones.
Question and I’m not trying to start anything but where did that rumor come from about UT fans buying season tickets? I don’t see any logic in that. Why would UT fans buy season tickets for one game for an opponent they will likely not see again from a conference they are leaving?
Answer: because they have more money than sense.
Lol probably but that lines up more with them paying 10x face value on stubhub know what i mean?
The idea is UT fans are tempted to lock in a guaranteed seat to the game by buying a season ticket now, rather than wait to try and buy an individual game ticket because everything might be sold out and resale prices may be super high. We will see what the demand actually is.
Thanks @spec4.2. I read your post and didn’t want to take any chances so I called the Ticket Office and renewed for this year.
Rant: I can’t believe the Ticket Office hasn’t sent out any renewal notices. When I went online to check my Cougar Pride account and try to renew there, it stated “Sorry, you currently have no applications available online.” The Ticket Office is still operating under a G5 standard.
I called the ticket office and renewed. Only took a few minutes and no hassle.
My only issue being, without Coogfans I’d have no idea I could do that yet. Guess I should update my email to one I check regularly.
