When is the last time anyone heard that ? Congrats.
UH should incorporate it as part of Conrad Hilton. Just the food & drink.
It could be offered as a class.
The physical plant part is usually offered in Sports Management.

Tech friend is probably in seats like 330 which is just $25 each. Unless the Raider students are lower level and then comparable tix would be 230. They have 20k more seats as well.
I’d easily pay $150 for any seat for the Texas game. It’s worth more than a New Years Day bowl to me.
Aggie students get third deck and corps gets better seats (first or second deck). However they have over 30k students attending games. These UT tix for us are priced cheaper than cheapest tix for a game like Miss State.
No. I’ve sat in them, and they’re on the 40. They’re in the bottom few rows of the second tier, but it’s obviously not like our set-up.
Even if you compare our upper deck bleachers, they’re still cheaper.
I understand the economics behind it, but that doesn’t justify the AD lying about ticket prices to his customers.
Well for TCU the non-home side above the students is $350. Ours in 230 are just $253. If Tech is cheaper than $250 next year, no wonder they get solid attendance.
If that doesn’t include the required donation, it’s not really the “ticket price” though. For my friend’s Tech tickets on the 40, that cost is $65/seat. My tickets on the north side 40 require $300/seat.
$300 donation is sideline seating. Way more premium than second deck non-home side. All in cost divided by number of games is the comparable figure. We’re $100 cheaper than TCU in total, for 40 yard line second deck. not sure about per game rate.
I’m not following the argument. I’ve literally sat in both seats (Tech and UH), and they’re comparable non-home side seats. UH tickets cost more than double the Tech tickets.
I don’t know about TCU or whatever - don’t care really.
Not sure how SEC ticket policy applies to Big 12 ticket info.
Yeah, so if our tickets in section 230 cost a total of $250 for seven games ($35.70 per game), the equivalent Tech tickets must only cost $18 per game. Terrific bargain!
Don’t know about those seats - haven’t sat in them at either stadium and I wasn’t comparing them.
Can you purchase the clip on chair backs that remain installed throughout the season still?
I’m sure you can. Those things are money-makers, so they’ll stay in play. ![]()
What about that gas you spend to drive 9 hours to go to a TT game? I bet that burns up the delta. Unless your friend lives in Lubbock, which I doubt.
Bottom line, the ticket pricing is set to help fund the schools athletic department, not just football, so they need to maximize revenue one way or another.
Ticket prices are reasonable. You can get a good seat in upper deck for $175.
I sit in 102 but I’m going to buy two tickets in the upper deck and resell them each game
Dont plan on the longhorn game unless you wanna pay an entire months rent to go
Section 100 vs TCU $180
Section 100 vs UT $580
Im 230 R16
Mid-End zones/upper sideline bleachers are $175 for season tickets: That includes UT game. Ticket is $100, donation is $20 and UT ticket is $55. Thats $175 total. Very reasonable.
UT games are way off parking. Utsa was in someone’s yard a mile away.
I was pleasantly surprised. Im moving to that 200 level on the visitors side in the bleachers. Hopefully the 1st row. Thats the bargain of the stadium. It has the same views as the TV.
