Make it one thread in the folder and not allow new threads. The A New Disturbance in the Force has actually been pretty good at corralling most of the economy and business talk in a single thread.
We are paying students to play a game.

The Kardashians who have done absolutely nothing in their lives and can barely produce a spoken intelligent sentence are all billionaires.
We elect idiots on all sides of the political spectrum. Mine, yours, and there’s.
The ones that (all sides) that are not idiots arrive at their political job poor and leave mighty rich.
And we are worried about our little spot on this earth being political free.
On the other hand, I don’t like the hate that always pops up on these board when politics comes out and perhaps there should be one place where we can talk knitting style and soup recipes and have a moment of peace.
I don’t know. I voted yes but perhaps it should be no.
Censorship is a tricky thing. 
Have a separate forum or don’t focus on politics or ban it, just ban the stupid idiot flame bait trolling.

Make a “current events” category. Make the satellite what it was originally intended to be. Tired of having to look at political crap from both sides. Let them go at each other in another category.

If you allow them, they should be in a separate category, and I think the mods should continue to keep an eye on posts. There’s a difference between political posts and incendiary/radical posts. If we want to talk about Texas’ new social media censorship law, that’s fine. Posts complaining about censorship of bomb threats on doctors? Not acceptable. Probably easier to just delete all political posts period (and suspend any posters that create them going forward).

Shutting down post talking about current events is not political. Example I had a thread locked where I posted Biden says Armageddon could happen is not political. Burying people’s heads in the sand about current events that literally could mean life or death for everyone is not political but banning such post is downright irresponsible and ignorant.

There are plenty of political forums out there for those people. If you must have one here, put it behind a paywall like you used to have it.

Can we please have a an echo chamber that reinforces whatever.I already believe!!! Oh and can it be be backed with a little bit of religion so I can feel that my beliefs come from God.

What am I missing? Pretty much every thread on the satellite is currently political. But admin is asking if he should allow it? Um.

In all seriousness yes or a separate forum. But it either has to be either iron fisted rules enforcement or an understood free for all. Anything in between is just going to be an extra headache.

No. These days, politics have become so polarizing that we can ill afford the infighting due to ideology. It doesn’t unite us, it divides us, and there aren’t enough of us to lose fans.
There are plenty of social media sites for Coog fans to express their political views.
